Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport you will be met by Max Holidays representative who will transfer you to your hotel for rest and night stay.
Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After breakfast a full day guided tour of Old and New Delhi (Delhi, the capital of India comprises of conspicuously contrasting Old and New Delhi.Old Delhi was the capital of Muslim India between the 12th and 19th centuries and one can find mosques, monuments and forts related to Muslim history. New Delhi is the imperial city created as India's capital by the British, intricately planned and comprises of imposing buildings displaying various modern style of architecture) will take you to Red Fort (Built bythe builder of the Taj Mahal - Shah Jehan, famous for its delicately carvedinlaid and Royal chambers), Raj Ghat (The creamation Ground of the father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi), Humayun's Tomb (Humayun's tomb is believed to have been designed in 1565 AD by the widow of Mughal emperor Himayun. It'splan, based on the description of Islamic paradise gardens, is known to have inspired the Taj Mahal and many later Mughal tombs. This type of garden is known as a charbagh and is based on a grid), Safdarjung's Tomb (Representing the last phase of the Mughal style of architecture, Safdarjang's Tomb stands in the centre of an extensive garden), Qutab Minar (73 meters high which tapers from a 15 m diameter base to just 2.5 m at the top. The walls consistintricately carved quotations from Koran and is one of the most perfect towers of the Persian world) Drive through India Gate (The war memorial) and President's Palace. Night stay in your hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to the pink city of Jaipur. On arrival check into the hotel. Later sightseeing of Jaipur city visiting Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds (This five storied building which looks out over the main street of the old city is one of Jaipur's major landmarks. This is a stunning example of the Rajput artistry with it's pink, semi-octagonal and delicately honey combeds and stone windows. Originally Hawa Mahal was built to enable the ladies of the royal families to watch the everyday life and processions of the city),Jantar Mantar - The Observatory (The Observatory, built by Raja Jai Singh in1728. It is an excellent example of the marvelous precision where in each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars,altitudes and azimuths or calculating eclipses. The most striking instrumentis the Sun Dial which is 90 feet high) and City Palace Museum (City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. A part of the palace is still the house of the former Maharaja of Jaipur).Night stay in the hotel.
Day 04 : Excursion to Amer and Jaigarh Forts
After breakfast we drive to Amer Fort (Situated atop the Aravali hills Ameris the ancient capital of Jaipur and a magnificent example of Rajput architecture). We ascend to the fort on Elephant's back. Later we also visitthe Jaigarh Fort (Overlooking the Moata Lake and dating back to the 11th century, to see the world's biggest cannon. Visit Gaitor, the royal cremation ground to see the elegant chhatris and cenotaphs of various kings and queens. The white marble structure of Jai Singh II, with its intricately carved dome and supporting pillars, is the most beautiful.). Evening free to explore the city and night stay in the hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur-Agra
Breakfast in the hotel and then drive to Agra (Agra attained its magnificence under the Emperor Akbar The Great. Once the capital of Mughal India, it is famous for the world renowned Taj Mahal). Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri (This magnificent fortified ghost city was the capital of Mughal empire between 1571 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. It was built by the emperor to commemorate the birth of his son Jahangir.Fatehpur Sikri was there after quickly abandoned, but till date it remains a perfectly preserved example of Mughal architecture.). Later proceed to Agraand check into the hotel. Night stay in your hotel at Agra.
Day 06 : Agra sightseeing
After breakfast visit the most beautiful monument Taj Mahal (Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shahjahan in the sweet memories of his wife Mumtaj. The Taj complex took 22 years and 20,000 workforce, including specialised craftsmen,to get completed and is today counted as one of the Wonders of the World.This white Marble wonder is extra ordinarily luminescent and even on the dulldays one can find it glowing. De facto the Taj is believed to change its glow depending on the intensity and direction of the sunrays falling on it).Also visit Agra Fort and Itmad Ud Daulah. Night stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Agra - Mathura - Delhi
Breakfast in the hotel and then at around 0900 hrs we proceed to Delhi. Enroute we stop at Sikandra Fort (High battlement walls pierced on each side by four gateways built of red sandstone enclose Sikandra - the mausoleum of Akbar, placed at the centre of a huge garden. Crowning each corner of the gateway are four marble minarets. The burial chamber is reached by acorridor, which leads deep into the heart of the building). After visiting the fort proceed to Mathura (57 kms north of Agra lies the birth place ofthe Hindu epic hero Lord Krishna. Situated on the right banks of Yamuna river, Mathura is one of the seven holy cities of Hindus. Coincidentally itis also an important centre for Buddhist art. Here the marble galleries adjoining the ghats are actually a study in elegance. Mathura also has a Museum with an excellent collection of sculptures -dating from 5th century B.C. to 1200 A.D., terracotta and inscriptions.). Upon arrival at Delhi in the evening the group will check into the hotel for night stay.
Day 08 : Leave Delhi
Intime the group will be taken to the International airport by our guide. Our services finish and the group.
